Zawj Match: Child Safety Standards
Zawj Match is a marriage-introduction service for adults aged 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualisation of minors.
Our standards
- Adults only. Users must be 18 or older to register and must confirm this when they sign up. Accounts we believe belong to minors are removed. Our team rejects identity documents that show an age under 18.
- Prohibited content and behaviour. Our Terms of Service ban profiles for anyone under 18 and any content or contact that sexualises, grooms or endangers children. Breaking this rule leads to removal of the content and a permanent ban.
- In-app reporting. Members can report any profile in the app, including with the reason "Underage", and can block any member. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and child-safety reports are handled first.
- Action on CSAM. We remove CSAE content and permanently ban the accounts involved. We report CSAM and credible threats to children to the relevant authorities, including the FIA Cyber Crime Wing in Pakistan and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
- Compliance with the law. We comply with applicable child-protection laws, including Pakistan's Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016.
How to report a concern
- In the app: open the member's profile, tap Report, and choose "Underage" (or the reason that fits best). You can also block the member from their profile.
- By email: write to contact@zawjmatch.com, with the profile ID if you have it (for example SM-XXXXXX). You do not need an account to report.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first.
